Description

Many Beatles LP’s are auctioned … but few of the prized MONO series.  Here find a 1st US pressing of "Beatles VI" in glorious MONO:

“Beatles VI”  (Capitol T2358)    MONO

(black label w/ rainbow colorband)

This is the rare first pressing, on which the song titles were printed on the back of the jacket in incorrect order!!!  "Pressed" for time, Capitol added the notation: "See label for correct playing order"!!!  This unusual print error and notation make this 1st pressing particularly collectible.  (The error was corrected on subsequent pressings.)

 

Vinyl:  VG++   (play graded)

High gloss on this wax.

Surface scratches/scuffs are present.  Surface noise is barely audible between tracks, absent during songs.  The wax plays like NM.

The sound quality on this well recorded LP is superb.

Labels are clean and bright. 

Spindle marks present but barely detectable.                 (see photos)


Jacket:  VG++

Front cover photo is clean, with bright colors.  Back cover photo (B&W) is clean and clear. 

Top and bottom seams in fine condition.  Spine seam shows modest wear.  Two corners show a bit of seam split, approx. 1/8 inch.

Modest ring wear front and back.              (see photos)

Includes original inner sleeve in excellent condition.

 

Timeless Beatle classics as the original glorious mono mixes!!!

Terrific sound quality.  (NOT the dreaded rechanneled stereo.)

You’ll be hard pressed to find a finer copy of this rare Beatles collectible.

All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.
