Beatles Vinyl Record: - "Anthology 1", RARE UK Import Triple (3) LP Set – Still Sealed! Apple Records, 1995 “Limited Edition” 1st Pressing w/60 Songs
The Beatles "Anthology 1" - This 12-inch "Vinyl" 3 LP Set is the first release in a (3) three-part series. This RARE and Out-of-Print 1st Pressing album was made in the UK, released on November 20, 1995. The LP set was NEVER issued by Capital/Apple Records in the USA - ONLY British UK Imports of the LP set "Anthology 1" were made available in record stores throughout the USA in the mid-1990s. In response to the success of "Anthology 1" (PCSP 727 / 7243 8 34445 1), Capitol/Apple Records THEN released both "Anthology 2" and "Anthology 3" in the USA. The "Anthology 1" LP Set includes 60 (Mono & Stereo) previously "UNRELEASED" Tracks of Rehearsal Takes, Alternate Takes, and Works in Progress of music recorded by The Beatles between 1958 - 1964. Included here are Alternate Versions of a few songs from the following Beatles Albums/CDs: "Please Please Me", "Introducing The Beatles", "With The Beatles", "Meet The Beatles", "The Beatles Second Album", "Beatles For Sale", "The Early Beatles" and "Beatles '65". Also included are some of The Beatles earliest recordings cut in Hamburg, Germany as well as their Decca audition tapes (which were rejected. As a bonus, "Free As a Bird," is included (a John Lennon track "finished" by the remaining Beatles in 1995).
