Extremely rare 1st press. Play tested.
Spine is the widest I have ever seen. Most spines are curved, and quite narrow, there are some early quite thick spines, curved, but this is an extremely rare wide square shape spine, 11mm wide. please see pictures.
The gatefold cover is excellent, other than a thin mark across the rear cover, barely any marks at all. No writing or rips.
This is also the mono edition, which is also harder to find than the more readily stereo issue. I've played the records, some light click and pops between tracks, but very little during actual songs. No major marks at all.
The mono edition was also ONLY issued in UK.
A big difference between the mono and stereo mixes. There are too many to list here, but there is plenty of info online. The Beatles only took part in overseeing the mono mix as that's how they intended the album to be heard. This was the last Beatles album issued in Mono.
Comes with a poster, which is excellent.
All photos are very good, minor pin holes in each corner.
Comes with rare spacer for use between photos
Inner black sleeves are in great condition. Some very limited wear, these were quite thin so often got badly split or torn. I will put these records in new sleeve to keep them in great condition.
