This extremely respectable 1965 UK 1st pressing 45 is on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5389

Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK.. text & 'Gramophone Co. Ltd...' rim texts.

The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.


Housed in an original green & white Parlophone company cover.


Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18341-4 & 7XCE 18342-1.

Stamper codes: -/RD & 6/LT


CONDITION

Labels: NEAR MINT

A super set with no wear to either centre hole and no more than 2 light spindle marks.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Extremely clean & deep-gloss surfaces which bear just two faint surface marks (not scratches) on side 1 in strong daylight and a few insignificant wispy paper hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.

Play: EXCELLENT

This barely played copy sounds clean & clear throughout with no significant or major audible faults or wear on either side.

Cover

EXCELLENT

Clean & bright with a few minor faint age-spots to the rear but no writing, splits or tears.
