The Beatles White Album
The original first pressing of this double LP pressed in 1968.
Additionally the very rare MONO version
No "emi recording.." listed on the label, this occurs only in the very earliest copies made of the first press.

on the left of the spindle hole (disc2).

. Mother/stampers 5GU, 1GH, 2HA and 7TT
. All 4 sides have been listened to right through. 29 tracks play Excellent, in the 30th there is a hop. Individual play notes for each side are listed below.
Black Inner Sleeves
. Both sleeves are original Apple, in matt black paper with the hole diecut on just 1 side.
. Excellent condition just some creasing of the paper, and some light scuffing on the top opening edge.
. Both are completely intact with just a small seam split of about 1 inch on the base edge.
. All seams well stuck down and no writing.
Outer Cover
. Original laminated cover made by Garrod and Lofthouse.
. Opens at the top.
. The Beatles embossed on the front of the cover.
. Number stamped on the front 0168107
. Rear of cover has no markings anywhere, ie MONO
. VG+ condition overall.
. A nice glossy surface with just a few creases in the laminate, particularly bottom right corner. Has a single tear on the front face only of just under 1 inch, which I have shown clearly on the photo on the right.
Photos
. Colour photos of all 4 Beatles.
. VG++
. Complete and undamaged with no tears or writing or sellotape residues.
. No pinholes.
Poster
. Original lyrics poster by Garrod and Lofthouse.
. VG+ condition. The front face looks perfect with just some light creasing to the paper. The rear face has some dirty fingerprint marks, and seams have been strengthened with invisible tape.
. Complete, no tears, no writing, no holes.
I have played the 2 records all the way through and listened to all tracks.
Side1 - Visually VG++ a few short light superficial scratches. Play was Excellent++ no ticks, no clicks, no hops, no jumps, no crackles and no background noise. Side 2 - visually VG+ some light scratches and some scuffs. On play there were some odd quiet clicks in Piggies and Raccoon. The only flaw worthy of comment was a jump near the start of track 2 So Tired. Side 3 - visually VG+ a few light superficial scratches. On play of the whole side I noted just a few regular clicks in one place, at the end of Mother Nature's Son. Side 4 - visually VG a few surface scratches. On play I heard some regular but quiet clicks during Cry Baby, and the very last track Revolution 9 has some noticable clicks and noise in addition to those very peculiar noises put on this track by the Beatles themselves.
