Description
The Beatles' self-titled album, commonly known as "The White Album", was originally released on November 22, 1968, in the UK and November 25, 1968, in the US. This double album is noted for its variety of musical styles, with songs ranging from rock and folk to R&B, blues, and avant-garde. It showcased the increasing divergence in the musical tastes of the band members.

The U.S. version of "The White Album" was released by Apple Records with the catalog number SWBO-101. Like its UK counterpart, the U.S. album had a plain white sleeve, with "The BEATLES" embossed (or stamped in some later pressings) on the cover.
