The Beatles - The Beatles
This fantastic copy of The Beatles eponymous studio album, known widely as 'The White Album', comes with the extremely sought after 1st pressing Apple Record label that omit 'An EMI Recording' from all four sides.
This exceptional record is housed within the holy grail of sleeves for most Beatles collectors; a 1st edition top opening sleeve with an extremely low 7 digit serial number: No. 0000865.
This album is complete with all original inner: two die-cut black inner sleeves, 4 photo card images of the Beatles, the photo card spacer, and the large foldout poster with song lyrics on the flip-side.

Vinyl: VERY GOOD +
Labels: EXCELLENT
The labels are bright and clean without writing. Only very light spindle marks can be seen to all four sides.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Visually the vinyl surface has a deep gloss factory finish. In bright daylight several light surface marks are present to all sides.
Sound Quality: VERY GOOD +
The audio is superb! There are quiet lead-ins to all sides and only subtle static in between tracks. 'Martha My Dear' has one turn of groove wear. All other tracks play through with the punch and vigour that is expected of an early mono pressing. There are no skips or jumps. Overall, a really enjoyable listening experience.
Sleeve: VERY GOOD
The extremely rare sleeve looks great. All four sides are exceptionally clean and retain a deep-gloss finish. There is a subtle water stain to the extreme bottom right hand corner of the front. There is no sign of ring wear. The spine shows signs of use. The top, bottom and opening edges show only subtle wear. The corners are strong with just very mild wear.
Inners: EXCELLENT
The original inner sleeves look great. They both have small rips around the die-cut centre and opening edge. VERY GOOD+. The four photo cards are NEAR MINT. The spacer has been ripped to one corner and is creased. VERY GOOD - .The poster looks great. EXCELLENT. Also included in the sale is an audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeve to help protect and preserve the fantastic record.
This record will be sent via an insured courier in a padded vinyl mailer.
