!!!AN ALL ORIGINAL, VERY FIRST PRESS MONO!!!

Professionally cleaned with a Pro-Ject VC-S MkII Vacuum record cleaner and then listened to-ALL the way through on a Focus One deck, SME arm with new Audio Technica stylus.

This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

The Vinyl:
VG(+)
148g/145g
The vinyl has just light marks to her. After playing her ALL THE WAY through, I found a wonderful rich audio with just very minimal and very occasional light background noise. Even inbetween tracks are lovely and quiet.
I noticed some light revolutionary pops on track 3, side 2, as well as on Long Long Long-but nothing bad at all.
There were two tiny tiny skips near the end of While My Guitar Gently Weeps…But they were tiny.
A simple joy to listen to.
Simply wonderful, clear playback...In particular-side 4 was fantastically clear-which is great as this is the side which is mainly instrumental and shines out with all its glory!
FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN
TURN HER UP-I DID ;)

The labels:
EX.
All four of the labels are extremely bright and clean with the DARKER apple.
Just light spindle marks to each label, visible when angled towards the light...Lovely!
Minimal hole wear.
"Mfd in the U.K." to each of the labels.

 WITHOUT writing.
GORGEOUS!

The Cover:
VG+
NUMBERED: 0126759.
Lovely Low number.
It is the first run TOP loading and LOVELY & CLEAN, SUPERB shine to it. Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold without tears, rips or writing!!
The spine remains strong, it carries a small amount of some rubbing and lifting to the central area.
NO SPLITS OR TEARS
Correct MONO cover as it doesn't have the printing of  Stereo to the back top right.
There are 6 or 7 small crescents of spidering to the front, with around 3 or 4 small ones to the back, as well as some small fingers of spidering emanating from the spine and seams..I am being rather critical as these are seen when angled towards the light and looking for them.
Slight knocks and rubbing from storage to the corners, the front bottom right has the most wear, but nothing major what-so-ever.
(Please see the detailed pictures for yourself and click on them for larger and more detailed images).

AGAIN, I AM BEING INCREDIBLY CRITICAL!!!
PLEASE SEE MY FEEDBACK FOR FAIR GRADINGS

GORGEOUS ORIGINAL FIRST PRINTING!!!

Inners:
VG-!
All ORIGINAL BLACK inners. They are both well looked after with both having some feathering to the opening, as well as one having two small lines of 3cm tearing to the window.
One of them is in super condition with just the feathering to the opening.
They have the die-cut corners and the'windows' on one side to each.
THEY ARE ALL ORIGINAL
Certainly done their job by looking after these records for all this time!

Pictures:
They are EXCELLENT AND ALL ORIGINAL.
Unfortunately Ringo is missing.
They DO NOT have any pin-holes around their edges...Which was quite typical for the Beatles fans to pin their beau's up on their bedroom wall.
Paul has a faint line across the centre created at the time of printing, but nothing to worry about at all.
Lovely and bright.
Beautiful white backings too!
GORGEOUS

Poster:
VG-.
It is the ORIGINAL, full size 1st press poster with lyrics to the back and lips to the front.
It remains all attached and complete, but there are small splits to the central folds and a longer one to the bottom left fold of around 12cm…but this will not be noticed if framing…
ALL ORIGINAL AND COMPLETE.
The colours remain vibrant
