AN ALL ORIGINAL, VERY FIRST PRESS MONO
1/1/1/1 Matricies
1st press labels WITHOUT 'EMI Recording' text
*8mm spine*

This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

LOVELY EARLY PRESSING HERE

The Vinyl:
156g/152g
VG(+)
The vinyl has only light needle marks to each disc. BUT after listening to her ALL THE WAY THROUGH, I only found some light background crackle, which is more evident if turned up very loud-which I am sure would improve with just a gentle professional clean.
I noticed a tiny, tiny skip on "I'm Tired" on side 2-other than that the vinyl retains it's sheen and is as flat as the day she was born.

GLORIOUS MONO

The labels:
EX-.
1st press WITHOUT the "An EMI recording" text to ANY OF THE LABELS!!
W-O-W this is an early pressing!
All four of the labels are bright and clean with the DARKER apple.
Just light spindle marks-
...these can only be seen when angling towards the light....
VERY, VERY NICE!!
Minimal HOLE WEAR
NO WRITING
"Mfd in the U.K." to each of the labels.

PLEASE SEE THE DETAILED IMAGES PROVIDED-CLICK ON THEM FOR EVEN LARGER IMAGES AND SEE MY FEEDBACK FOR FAIR GRADING AND HAPPY CUSTOMERS

The Cover:
EX-
!!YEP-THAT GOOD!!
8mm WIDESPINE TOO
NUMBERED: 0064482 It is an EARLY first run, with TOP loading.
 Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold
The spine remains strong and clear, with just light rubbing in a small section!
Superb cover-creamy white.
The only points of notice are a couple of very light and small crescents of spidering to the back laminate
-I AM BEING INCREDIBLY CRITICAL HERE-
SIMPLY LOVELY CONDITION

Correct MONO cover as it doesn't have the printing of  Stereo to the back top right.
GLORIOUS and clean on the inside of the gatefold.
(Please see the detailed pictures for yourself-it really is lovely).
AGAIN, I AM BEING INCREDIBLY CRITICAL!!!

Excellent, very strong Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold flipbacks....
ORIGINAL FIRST PRINTING!!!

Inners:  VG(-). Original BLACK inners. They are both  well looked after.
One has a tiny 2cm split to one side and the other has a larger 10cm split to one side and 2cm to the other- REMAINS VERY NICE
They have the die-cut corners and the'windows' on one side to each.
THEY ARE ALL ORIGINAL-NOT REPRO!
