Original UK Apple label stereo 1968 press double LP.
  The iconic Beatles LP released in November 1968 and the first pressing with No.0529452 on the front cover, with the top opening, widespine gatefold sleeve, the fold-out collage poster, the four band pictures and the black Apple inners.
This has the first press matrices, YEX-709-1, YEX-710-1, YEX-711-1, YEX-712-1 and the 'Sold in the UK..' label texts on the dark green Apple labels!   The fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse top opening gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some very light laminate rubbing and some very light corner/edge wear, with light yellowing of the cover. The widespine is intact and fully readable, but slightly crushed where the laminate has cracked and lifted.    The plain black inners are intact & in VG+ condition, with some light creasing and the matt foldout poster is in EX condition with some light creasing and the pictures are intact and in EX condition.   The records are in visually EX condition, sides 1 & 2 have a few faint hairlines & one or two small needlemarks/bag scuffs and sides 3 & 4 have a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two small needle scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of faint spindle markings on sides 1 & 2 and a few more spindle markings on sides 3 & 4.   The sound reproduction is EX, clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some low background noise during the run in grooves & very briefly in a couple of the quieter passages. Overall it is still a really great, loud & clear listen.   The matrix nos. are;
YEX-709-1 mother stamper 4-GDP, YEX-710-1 mother stamper 3-GGT, YEX-711-1 mother stamper 1-PO, YEX-712-1 mother stamper 2-LG. This is one of the early pressings of the original 1968 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!

  All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!   All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide.
  All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!   UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg.
