BEATLES UK – White Album, original UK stereo LP.

Apple record labels.

A UK first issue, stereo copy with a unique individual serial number of, ‘No. 0450506’,

I am selling this LP on behalf of my father. He has had this since new but has not played it for many years (over 10 ) as he no longer has a turntable . I have tried to describe as best I can ( not being an expert) and have read and used the Record Collector guide to describe the condition. As this has not been played in over ten years ( stored in an record box) we cannot advise on sound quality. My father does not remember any distortion to sound but as not played recently we can only class as "good condition"

On the front of the main sleeves is embossed Beatles logo and a unique individual SERIAL number of No. 0450506, this number appears clear and bold. On the rear, top right there is a small ‘Stereo’ logo printed proving this to be a genuine STEREO sleeve

Album has the two original black APPLE inner sleeves and have not been replaced. The edges of the black selves are bent over with some tears and scuffing to the edging and central sleeve hole (see photos) . A sticker had been added to each black sleeve (by my mother - " 1 - 2" and "3 - 4" see photos) There are no other sellotape marks, repairs, residue, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeves

I would say the main sleeves and inner sleeves are in good condition ( as per Record Collector guide) as they suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, small tears to the inner black sleeves and there is discolouration to the album cover, with some sticker residue. The spine has not split but is worn.

The records themselves are in very good condition with a good sheen and nothing feelable however record one, side 2 has a scratch on it - again not feelable records are made of the original 1960s ‘thick and heavy’ vinyl.

As this is a very first issue, side one and three feature the original DARK green apple colours. Each of the labels have the text ‘An EMI recording’ and ‘Sold in UK’ etc. Each label is free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
