This NEAR MINT early copy is on the dark green Apple label: PMC 7067 & PMC 7068
All labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text and but omit the 'An EMI Recording' statement.
There is no tax/price code is visible on any label.

Housed in a fully laminated, top-loading 'Garrod & Lofthouse' mono cover, numbered: No. 0032768
Complete with original die-cut matt-black inners, UK 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed poster, four 'thick' card colour photos & white paper photo spacer.

Matrix numbers: XEX 709-1, 710-1, 711-1, 712-1
Stamper numbers: 5/OM, 5/TT, 2/LM, 1/LL
(The original owner's name is neatly etched into the run-out on sides 1 & 3)

Just a single faint spindle trail on each label.

Both surfaces are in pristine 'as new' condition when viewed in strong direct daylight with absolutely no marks or scratches to either side.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines but no other wear whatsoever.
Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.

Audio: NEAR MINT

I am pleased to report that all tracks sound 'as new' with no trace of background noise, groovewear or any other audible wear.
Frequently worn areas such as the crossover from 'Back in The USSR' to 'Dear Prudence' play perfectly without any background crackle.
Even the guitar solo on 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' is free from peakwear distortion or break-up.
The easily damaged introduction to 'Martha My Dear' and the delicate 'Blackbird' & 'Julia' all play perfectly.
Both run-ins & all bands play silently & there are no ticks, pops, hiss or any other audible wear elsewhere.

Just a single, tiny single spindle trail to each label.

Again, pristine, deep gloss, undulled surfaces with just a single light surface scuff line & some faint inner-sleeve storage marks on side 4.
Otherwise this is a totally pristine disc with no further visible wear of any kind - even directly under a halogen desk lamp
Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.

Audio: NEAR MINT

As with disc 1, careful listening at volume revealed no trace of any crackle, peak/groovewear distortion on any track or either channel.
Even the easily worn inner tracks on each side: 'Long, Long Long' & 'Goodnight' play perfectly without any distortion or break up.
Both run-ins & all bands play silently & there are no ticks, pops, hiss or any other audible wear elsewhere.

A strong, thick card early example with a bright, clean & unscratched laminate with just a hint of toning but still with a good 'whiteness'.
The front panel has a small area in the top left corner where a small section of laminate has slipped, possible during manufacture, but no other wear.
Otherwise the laminate is intact around the raised lettering and the early number is clean and bold.
All corners are in clean, unbruised and unbumped condition and the top opening edges are all clean & sharp with no tears or feathering.
The rear panel has 2 small scratches, two pin-hole marks and a light crease to the lower right corner but is otherwise clean and undamaged.
The inside is 'as new' and has clearly not been opened for many years.

The spine is clean and fully laminated with all the text present, bold and intact.

Both discs have been carefully audibly graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck fitted with a Shelter 901 cartridge.
