Not only the original First Press of this Double LP issued in 1968.
BUT ALSO
1) the even rarer MONO version
2)"an emi recording" is not on the labels on the vinyl - this indicates an extremely early copy of the first pressing.
3) Very low number cover.
4) Complete set - even a photospacer with the photos.

LPs
*Original 1st pressing from 1968
* "Sold in UK subject to..." printed on top of all LP labels (first press).
* Dark green Apple label
* Label number PMC 7067 and PMC 7068 ie MONO
* First mother pressing (side 3)
* Mother/stamper stamps in the black vinyl are 1GT, 3MR, 4GH and 7LL
* "An emi recording...." is missing from the left of the spindle hole on all four sides - this indicates an extremely early copy of the first pressing
* First matrix numbers on all sides ie XEX709-1, 710-1, 711-1, 712-1
* All tracks of all sides have been played, listened to, and play graded. Play gradings were Nearmint- to EX-Detailed visual and play notes are at the foot of the page.
Outer Sleeve
* An outstanding example of a well-preserved original MONO sleeve
* Extremely low number stamped on the front of the cover 0031420 .
* "The Beatles" embossed in the laminate on front cover.
* MONO cover - No writing of any kind on the back.
* Excellent+++ condition.
* Immaculate spine, including all the laminate intact and undamaged !!
* Widespine. I measure it at 8-9mm thick.
* Beautiful condition, completely intact, with no damage, no tears and no writing. Very very few creases in the laminate, just a few faint rubs on the opening edge.
Poster
* Original lyrics poster.
* Made by Garrod and Lofthouse, correctly identified as such on the back/bottom right corner.
* Rated as Nearmint-
* Completely intact, no tears, no damage, no writing, no pinholes.
* No seam splits and no wear on the seams.
Black Inner Sleeves
* Original black Apple sleeves with
matt black paper (with the hole diecut on just 1 side.)
* Excellent condition.
* Both sleeves are completely intact, no damage, no writing, one small 1cm tear on the centre hole.
* No seamsplit in either sleeve.
Photos
*Comes complete with 4 photos, one of each Beatle.
* Excellent condition with no damage, no tears, no writing, no pin-holes.
* Come complete with a photospacer as shown in the photo, also completely undamaged with no writing and in Excellent condition.
LP -Visual and Play
All 4 sides of the LPs have been not only visually examined, but also played on a quality deck and carefully listened to all the way through all tracks on all sides.
Side 1 -Play graded Excellent- and visually graded Excellent a few very small marks in two places, track1 which had no effect at all on the play and in track5 honey pie which gave four regular clicks. With my stylus the whole side played with no hops, no jumps, no sticks, no ticks or any other background noises. Side 2 - Play graded Excellent++ and visually graded Excellent. The surface of the vinyl had just a few faint light surface marks and the whole side played through flawfree with no ticks, no clicks, no crackles, no hops, etc etc. Side 3 - Play graded Nearmint- but visually graded EX/EX- due to some surface markings . Play of the whole side was extremely good, with lovely silent gaps between the tracks, and no sound whatever from any of the vinyl surface markings. Side 4 - was quite similar to side3 Play grading I found it to be Nearmint- with no ticks or clicks, no background crackles or any other noises, though visually there were a number of light surface scratches giving visual rating of VG+/VG++
95 minutes of wonderful MONO sound, The MONO mix, which was done by the Beatles themsleves, has quite a number of small differences from the stereo mix done by the Apple engineers. Details available on request.
