LPs
*Original 1st pressing from 1968
* "Sold in UK subject to..." printed on all LP labels (first press).
* "an emi recording" is missing from all four labels, showing this to be an extremely early copy of the first press.
* Label number PMC 7067 and PMC 7068 ie MONO
* First matrix numbers are XEX709-1, 710-1, 711-1, 712-1
* Mother/stamper stamps in the black vinyl are 2GDH, 3TH, 3GDG and 7M
* All tracks of all sides have been played, listened to, and play graded. * Detailed visual and play notes are at the foot of the page.

Outer Sleeve
* Original Heavyweight cover - you can tell these are the true originals as soon as you pick them up from the considerably greater weight and strength.
*Original MONO sleeve by Garrod and Lofthouse.
* Top-opening, first issue.
* Low number stamped on the front of the cover  0058647
* "The Beatles" embossed in the laminate on front cover.
* MONO cover - No writing of any kind on the back.
* VG+ condition.
*  Cover is completely intact with no writing.  The only significant markings are shown on the photo of the front of the cover, particularly scuffing of the top of the cover at the left hand end.  This marking is not on the inside nor on the back.  There are a few creases in the laminate on the edges.  The flaps on the inside of the cover are completely undamaged and well stuck down.
*  The spine is undamaged and the writing clearly readable, though some of the laminate is starting to lift off the surface.

Black Inner Sleeves
* Original black Apple sleeves with 
matt black paper (with the hole diecut on just 1 side.)
* Sleeve 1 has no tears, no writing and no seam splits, with just some light wear of the top opening edge. Two small tears of only a few mm on the centre hole.
* Sleeve 2 is very similar but the centre hole tears slightly larger at about 1" 
* Overall VG+

 Poster
* Original lyrics poster.
* Made by Garrod and Lofthouse, correctly identified as such on the back/bottom right corner.
* Rated as EX++
* No tears, no damage, no writing. 
* No splits on any of the seams.
* No wear on any of the seams.

Photos
* Comes with four 11" x 8"photos, one of each Beatle.
* Excellent condition with no damage, no tears, no writing, no pin-holes.

LP -Visual and Play
All 4 sides of the LPs have been not only visually examined, but also played on a quality deck and carefully listened to all the way through all tracks on all sides. 
Side 1 - Visually VG+ there are several light surface scratches.  However the side was found to play extremely well with no sticks, no hops, or jumps, no loud ticks or other noises.  Six tracks played EX/EX+ .  There were several light clicks at the start of Prudence, VG+, and a few very quiet ones at the end of glass Onion VG+
Side 2 - Visually EX-  one short surface scratch on track 2, and a little light surface rubbing.  Play grading overall was EX  I noted no hops/jumps/sticks/ticks etc.  I notes just 4 light crackles during the play of the whole side.
Side 3 -Visually VG  no deep scratches but a lot of light surface rubbing.  There were no serious flaws like hops, jumps, sticks, loud ticks or clicks, but the surface rubbing does give a background of light crackle which becomes noticeable in the quiet gaps, and quiet parts of the tracks, particularly the last track VG
Side 4 -  Visually VG nothing deep but a lot of light surface rubbing. Play is similar to side 3

95 minutes of wonderful MONO sound.

The MONO mix, which was done by the Beatles themsleves, has quite a number of small differences from the stereo mix done by the Apple engineers.  Details available on request.
