Super-RARE UK EXPORT version
yellow & black Parlophone labels, P-PCS 7067-8
I am currently selling what is left of my collection of UK Beatles rarities, as I no longer have a record player and have moved on to other interests (family...) now.
All gradings are strictly visual as I have no means to play-grade the records. Therefore I can not and will not guarantee how well a record plays but can only describe honestly my visual impression under a bright light.
This double album has even two rarity factors:
1.) It is a truly MEGA-RARE UK EXPORT edition on yellow&black Parlophone labels instead of the usual Apple labels. They carry the export-only catalogue number P-PCS 7067-8.
2.) This very album is housed in a WIDE SPINE sleeve! Only a small quantity of White Album covers were made with a significantly broader spine. I have never seen another EXPORT White Album with a correct number on the front side (in the 500.000 range) that had a WIDE spine, so this one seems UNIQUE to me!
Cover: The top-opening, WIDE SPINE cover is numbered 0574030 and is in VG- condition with wear and a longer tear near the spine (top side).
Both records have obviously been played often, judging by the fair amount of small scuffs and hairline scratches, but not abused. This is consistent with the nice condition of the glorious yellow&black Parlophone labels which are absolutely free of any scribbling or disturbing damages.
So I rate the vinyl visually VG and the yellow&black Parlophone labels receive an EX(-)!
