THE BEATLES - 'WHITE ALBUM'

1968 UK 1st PRESSING *STEREO* LP

**'WIDE-SPINE' NEAR MINT COPY**

This Near Mint stereo pressing was the amongst final bach of 1st pressings before the deletion of the 'Sold in UK..' text in mid-1969.

By the time this copy was shipped from the factory the supply of black inners was exhausted & white 'Patent nos.' inner-sleeves were used.

This UK late 1st STEREO pressing is on the dark green Apple labels: PCS 7067/8
All labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' and have 'Apple Records..' rim texts.
The 'An EMI Recording' statement is included on all labels.
There is no tax/price code visible on any label.

Housed in a fully laminated, top-loading 'Garrod & Lofthouse' stereo 1cm 'wide' spine cover numbered: No. 0588302.
Complete with original white inners, matt 'Garrod & Lofthouse' poster, four 'thick' card colour photos.

Visual: NEAR MINT

All surfaces are in pristine condition with just a few inner-sleeve marks visible on side 4 visible in strong daylight.
Viewed directly under a halogen lamp, all sides are in perfect condition with no hairlines, marks or scratches to any side.

An amazing set of discs which will not disappoint.

Audio: NEAR MINT

Played only three times, both discs play & sound 100% 'as new' with no deterioration to the sound quality on any track.
All run-ins, bands play silently and the quiet sections play cleanly & clearly with no clicks, pops, hiss or other interference anywhere.

(N.B: I never grade anything played as 'Mint')

Cover: NEAR MINT

Pristine, clean & un-yellowed example retaining a perfect glossy, unscratched laminate all-round.
There is a light bruise to the lower right corner but all others are clean, strong & square.
The top-opening edges are clean, sharp & unworn with just a 2cm 'rub' to the right edge of the front leaf.
The rear panel is as perfect as the front and displays a clear and bold 'stereo' logo.
The inside gatefold is 'as new' & completely undamaged.

The 1cm 'wide' spine's laminate is 100% intact without any splits and all the text is clear & readable.
