CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT +
All are clean & bright with no significant or major signs of wear. There are some light spindle trails around the centre hole, but the majority of them are on label 4.
Visual: Disc 1: EXCELLENT Disc 2: EXCELLENT +
Both discs have been very well looked after and bear no major blemishes or wear. Disc 1 displays a handful of light surface marks on side 2 in strong daylight, but nothing I would call a scratch. disc 2 is completely unmarked in the same light and appears 'as new'. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals several light marks and hairlines on disc one along with some harmless wispy hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal from its unforgiving black inner. Disc 2 has just some faint inner-sleeve storage marks and a sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this rare set lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: Disc 1: EXCELLENT Disc 2: EXCELLENT +
This set has been carefully and seldom-played on good equipment only and my play-check found no evidence of any groove/playwear on any track. Disc 1 presented just a touch of the usual light background on the introductions to 'Dear Prudence' & 'Martha My Dear', with the only other audible distraction being a handful of light clicks on 'Rocky Raccoon'. Disc 2 presented no issues whatsoever. All tracks there played cleanly & clearly with just a hint of low-level vinyl background in some of the quieter passages. Tough to find another copy, let alone in this condition.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & firm example with light storage & handling wear but no significant or major faults throughout.
The front panel is clean & unmarked with a bold unique number. There are mild bumps to the upper corners & slight shelfwear to the lower two & just minimal wear to the top-opening edges.
The inside of the gatefold is clean & unworn.
The rear panel is as clean as the front and the 'stereo' sticker is still in-place.
The spine's laminate shows no signs of any flaking and both sets of wording are covered and readable.
Poster: NEAR MINT
Unhung & still factory-folded.
Inner-sleeves: NEAR MINT
Both are flat & totally unworn with no damage or wear to any upper edge or central window & no stresses or splits to any seam.
Photos & Protector Sheet: EXCELLENT +
All are clean & unfaded with the only wear being a faint scratch across Paul's face & a few small corner bends.
