The original First Press of this Double LP issued in 1968.

Both LPs are in outstanding EX++/NM- condition, with a stunning shiny surface.  Play of all tracks on all four sides is also outstanding.

* Original 1st pressing from 1968
* "Sold in UK subject to..." printed on all LP labels (first press).
* Dark green Apple label
* Original heavyweight vinyl
* Label number PCS 7067 and PCS 7068 ie stereo
* All first matrix numbers YEX709-1, 710-1, 711-1, 712-1
* Mother/stampers are 2OR, 4OG, 2PD and 5LU.
* All four sides played and listened to right through, and individually rated EX to EX++

Outer Sleeve
* Original laminated outer sleeve by Garrod and Lofthouse.
* Heavyweight very early issue sleeve - the very earliest sleeves are instantly identifiable by their heavier weight and strength.
* Top-loading  - 1st issue
* Numbered copy, 0397302 stamped on front cover.
* "The Beatles" embossed in the laminate on front cover.
* The small word "stereo" on the back at top/right
* EX condition
* Completely intact, with no tears or writing, slightly yellowing with age along the two edges that have been facing the light. A few creases in the laminate near the bottom edge, the laminate is unbroken.
* Spine completely intact and looks almost like new, undamaged, all words clearly readable.

Poster
* Lyrics poster
* Made by Garrod and Lofthouse, correctly identified as such on the back/bottom right corner.
* Rated as Excellent 
* Completely intact and undamaged, no writing, no seamsplitting.

Photos
* I would have described the photos as EX+
* My photographer does not agree !!  -  says these are the best set of white album photos he has ever photoed, based upon the vibrant strong colour record and definition.
*  4 photos, one of each Beatle
* No tears, no writing, no pin-holes, no glue or sellotape marks.

Black Inner Sleeves
* The black inner sleeves are in EX/EX+ condition
* Original 1968 matt black paper inner sleeves, (with the hole diecut on just 1 side.)
* Inner sleeve 1 is in EX+ condition  - completely intact, no seam splits,  no damage, just a few creases in the paper.
* Inner sleeve 2 is EX, also completely intact, a few creases in the paper, a small tear of a few mm on the centre hole, no seam splits.
* No seam splits - very unusual in these old black sleeves.

LP -Visual and Play
All 4 sides of the LPs have been not only visually examined, but also played on a quality deck and carefully listened to all the way through. 

Side 1 - visually rated EX+  due to one single short scratch of about 2mm length on track 3. On playhowever this gave just one quiet click. A few light superficial rubbing, gave superb EX+ play to the whole side, no flaws, no ticks and no background noises. 
Side 2 - visually EX just one light scratch marking at the start of the first track, undetectable during play.  Play was EX++  Side 3 - visually EX++/NM- one very short superficial mark at the start of the first track and a few very light superficial rubbings from the paper sleeve.  Plays EX+ , one single quiet click near the start of the first track, thereafter not even any background noises were heard throughout the whole of the side.
Side 4 - visually rated EX++, no visible scracthes, some light rubbing from the paper sleeve detectable in strong light.  Play was EX , I detected just two quiet clicks near the end of Revolution, and a little background noise in the gap between tracks 4/5. 

 On all the 4 sides there were no hops, no jumps, no sticks and no loud ticks or clicks, just 95 minutes of wonderful sound.
