Description
The Beatles White Album, mono, vinyl double album in top-loading gatefold sleeve.
The Records: Been played many times but still in good condition, no warping, no serious scratching. There are some surface scratches and marks, and some are audible during some of the quieter moments. Unfortunately there is a pronounced sound through a brief part of Revolution Number 9 on Side Four. Overall the records play very well with no skipping or jumping.
Matrix numbers:
Side 1: XEX 709 -1
Side 2: XEX 710 - 1
Side 3: XEX 711 - 1
Side 4: XEX 712 - 2
The vinyl is still shiny but with some dulling.
The labels are in good condition, some slight foxing only visible under bright light, and with no writing. Please note, Sides 1 and 2 have 'Mfd in UK' on labels, Sides 3 and 4 'An EMI Recording' .
The outer sleeve: Aged, some marking and foxing, particularly to edges. There are two marks on the front and back covers where the laminate has been slightly torn, and some creasing; no tears.
Inner sleeves Not original, lined replacements are present.
The poster: Good condition, slight tear to top centre, some slight foxing, lyrics to verso, folds worn but not torn.
The photographs:Good condition, no damage, very slight foxing, Lennon slight crease to white right hand upper outer edge, McCartney very slight to white upper left outer edge.
Overall a sound original copy of this rare mono pressing.
