Description

Original 1st Press 1963 Stereo Ex Vinyl - The Very First Stereo release of this classic.

Stereo records at the time were still twice as much in price as a Mono and not popular with the masses hence not many were pressed with the original first Stereo labels.

"The Parlophone Co.Ltd etc" around the rim of the labels and the "Jobete" publishing credit for "Money" denotes this to be a first press. These were quickly replaced with the new labels which had the publishing credit for "Money" changed to "Dominion, Belinda" instead.

As can be seen by the photo's, the vinyl is in EX Condition with an occasional sleeve scuff if you hold to the direct sunlight.

The labels do have spindle marks and also look like they have been pressed funny as there are marks etc on both sides that look like spindle marks too but could just be the press.

Matrix Nos  YEX 110-2 / YEX 111-2

Mother Stampers   SIDE ONE : 1 R   &   SIDE TWO: 1 G

VERY very Early Stampers..

Comes complete with the EMITEX inner sleeve in EX Condition.

Sleeve has been looked after through the years as is a lovely example, except for a few age spots to the back and a few laminate creases to the front. Overall 8.5 /10 but still pretty straight.

Plays through as new.

Beautiful Solid upgrade for the more conserting collector.

Thanks for looking
