With The Beatles UK 1963 First Press PMC 1206 Decca Pressing

 

Up for auction is a UK With The Beatles LP on the Yellow / Black Parlophone Label.

First Press 1963.

Groove around label indicating a scarce Decca contract pressing due to a high demand for this LP on release.

Sleeve is In VG condition with some light marks to rear sleeve. Also a few creases to front with feathering to opening edge as indicated by the close up pictures. Also has You Really GOTTA Hold On Me misprint track 3 side 2.

Vinyl is in VG condition both sides with some small hairline scuffs on both sides.

LP plays through both sides lovely with some occasional crackles in between tracks, hence conservatively graded as VG both sides.

What makes this LP special is not just the superb music, but also the added rarity of it being a Decca pressing- the very record company that turned down the chance to sign The Beatles to their record label!
