The Beatles

“With the Beatles” MONO NZ 1st Pressing!

A rare find- a New Zealand 1st pressing with the UK Style Black-Gold labels but Black-silver instead. The sleeve has the factory printed price tag still attached to the sleeve- the price tag states 39/6 and is connected to the sleeve with perforations to be removed. You rarely see this still there making this a quirky find. The disc is pressed by HMV NZ for Parlophone using stampers cut from the UK mothers. Please note the credits/Royalties as per the label scans. The original inner sleeve is still there! The disc bears the Matrix of XEX447 + XEX448 in the run out groves plus the label has the NZ cat# PMCM1206. The sound quality is excellent. This copy plays beautifully with a rich full mono sound!

The front sleeve is laminated/lithoed. The rear sleeve is not laminated and has the 3 tabs/flip backs.

Please note the last 2 photos show the 3 variations of this album I am offering- they would make a lovely set- notice the variations to the colour- the 1st issue is a black- 2nd issue is a grey scale- last issue has green tint cover! This auction is only for the 1st pressing as described above.

Condition (visual grade):

DISCVG (A few fine hairline marks / paper hairlines from removal from sleeve –no deep marks)

SLEEVE: G+  (Signs of use and wear-minor tear on the rear sleeve by the opening. Spine has wear and noticeable damage but is still legible. Apart from spine wear there are no other seam splits. Writing on the back sleeve in blue biro.

I use the UK Record Collector grading system. I grade conservatively to avoid disappointment.  I don't use the grading MINT! I rarely ever use the grading Near mint (maybe only for sealed vinyl or unplayed /new discs). My EX+ is often another's NM!

For a detailed description of the UK Record Collector gradings see:  http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/VINYL-RECORD-GRADING-GUIDE?ugid=10000000001916909

1. I always remove the disc from the sleeve when packing.

2. I use recycled packaging.

3. Please make payment within 3 working days.

Postage:

UK/ EU/North America/Japan:

£10 Standard airmail (7-10 working days) + £3 for any additonal LP's.

This is effectively 1st class airmail and does not provide any sort of tracking service. Insurance for loss or damage is included but claims for loss or damage can only be made through NZ Post. Therefore if the above happens it will require your co-operation as NZ Post investigates such claims and does not compensate lightly without doing there homework. You agree not to claim via Paypal until NZ post have finished and concluded their investigation should this arise.

**If you would like a tracked courier service please ask me to get a quote for you!

South American/Italian/ Russian Federation/China :

Please be prepared for long delays of up to 1-2 months for your item. This is to do with the postal service at your end not mine. I have had difficulties with clients in the above areas asking where there item is after 2 weeks. Well it is usually sitting in a depot/warehouse in your country until customs or some bureaucrat processes it. I don’t mean to cause any offence but please understand the only way around this is for you to pay for a courier service which has tracking details and is fast 4-6days. This is expensive (from £22-30) so please ask me if you want this.

Russian Federation: Unfortunately the only service available to Russian Federation clients is standard/1st class airmail- the Russian postal system will not allow for non business-business items to be couriered i.e. they will only deliver to a commercial business address.

Any questions ? Please drop me an email ;)
