'WITH THE BEATLES'
1963 UK 1st **STEREO** PRESSING LP
This rare 1963 STEREO 1st pressing is on the UK yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3045
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
There is no tax/price code visible on either label.
The label credit for 'Money' is 'Jobete..'
Housed in a front laminated, flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' cover with the rare 'darker' front image
The side two label and rear cover panel carry the '..Gotta..' misspelling.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 110-2 & YEX 111-2
Stamper numbers: 3/GG & 3/GG
Hardly played at all, this superb warm and clear stereo mix plays beautifully without groovewear distiortion in either channel .
Superb clean and bright surfaces bearing no scuffs or scratches, just a few wispy sleeve removal hairlines under intense direct light.
Both run-ins and all bands play very quietly without crackle or clicks, and there is no hiss, clicks/pops, jumps or repeats anywhere.
100% flat on the turntable without any dishing or warping.
This excellent example remains bright and un-yellowed with its front panel bearing just some small, light laminate creases.
There is a pin-head size area of laminate missing in the lower right corner but no major damage.
The corners are in great shape and the opening edge is clean and sharp displaying just a hint of wear on the rear edge.
The rear panel bears some small areas of discolouration but no marks or writing.
All flipbacks and seams are intact, clean and undamaged and the spine is square, clear and readable.
