'YELLOW SUBMARINE'
1969 UK 1st *MONO* PRESSING LP
On the dark green Apple label - PMC 7070
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Apple Records...' rims
There is no tax/price code on either label.
Housed in an early front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' mono cover with blank lower flipback.
Complete with original die cut matt-black inner-sleeve.

Visual: EXCELLENT
Superb bright, clean & glossy surfaces in daylight with just one or two light surface marks but no scratches or major marks of any kind. A few barely visible wispy inner-sleeve paper hairlines are visible beaneath direct halogen light but there really is little to fault on this well looked-after copy.
Play: EXCELLENT +
All tracks on both sides play superbly. The entire disc has recieved only a few careful plays, and apart from a hint of wear on the introduction to 'Only A Northern Song', I detected no significant or major audible faults anywhere. Both run-ins and all bands play silently and even the delicate orchestral side plays without clicks, pops or any other signs of wear.
Cover
EXCELLENT
Bright, vibrant and high-gloss front panel which bears just a few minor spine wrinkles and a light bend to the upper right corner. However, there are no 'thumbnails' or any other signs of wear. All corners are square and unbumped & both opening edges are clean, sharp & unworn. The rear panel is clean & white where it should be with just a few faint handling marks but no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks, seams and the spine are clean & completely undamaged.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Light storagewear creasing but no splits or tears anywhere.
