1969 UK 1st PRESS STEREO LP
**NEAR MINT**
This outstanding 1969 early 1st stereo pressing is on the UK dark green Apple label: PCS 7070
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Apple Records..' rims.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover WITHOUT the printers credit on the lower flipback.
Complete with its original matt black, die-cut inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 715-1 & YEX 716-1
Stamper numbers: 2,4/RA & 1/GH
Labels: NEAR MINT
Just a single spindle trail on either side.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces are MINT viewed in natural light and display just some wispy inner-sleeve removal/paper hairlines directly under a halogen desk lamp.
Otherwise this is a pristine, unmarked disc with absolutely no scuffs, marks or any scratches to either side.
100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Played only twice there is no trace of any background crackle or groovewear distortion on any track.
Both run-ins and all bands play silently without any interference & all the orchestral tracks play cleanly & clearly without any clicks or pops.
A great listen.
Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS
Vibrant clean front panel retaining a pristine unscratched high-gloss laminate which bears just 3 tiny edge wrinkles but no thumbnails or other wear.
There corners are all clean & sharp and both opening edges are sharp and unworn with no tears or feathering.
The rear panel is extremely clean with no discolouration, handling marks, writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks, spine & seams are intact, clean & undamaged.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT PLUS
