THE BEATLES - 'YELLOW SUBMARINE'

1969 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING LP

**NEAR MINT/PLAYED ONCE**

This superb 1969 UK 1st STEREO pressing is on the dark green Apple label: PCS 7070
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Apple Records..' rims.
There is no tax/price code visible on either label.

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover with red horizontal lines on the reverse.
Complete with its original die-cut matt-black lined inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: YEX 715-1 & YEX 716-1
Stamper numbers: 2,4/RG & 3/MM
Disc weight: 143g

Labels: NEAR MINT

Both labels are pristine with bear just ONE spindle mark around each centre hole.

Visual: MINT

Both surfaces are totally unmarked and MINT & 'as new' when closely inspected in strong daylight & even directly under a halogen desk lamp.
There are absolutely no marks, scratches or even any inner-sleeve/paper hairlines visible anywhere.
I guarantee you will not find a better example.

Audio: NEAR MINT

This copy has only been played just ONCE and that is the only reason I will not grade it as 'MINT'.
All tracks on BOTH sides play cleanly and clearly with no groovewear distortion, background noise, clicks or indeed any audible wear whatsoever.
This copy is as close to 'as new' as you could wish for, or find.


Cover: EXCELLENT

An vibrant, strong & firm example which retains an undamaged high-gloss front laminate with no 'thumbnails' or any other significant faults.
There is a small bump to the lower left corner but no other wear to the other three.
Both opening edges appear untouched and are clean & sharp & totally unworn on both sides.
The rear panel is pristine clean & white with no fingermarks, discolouration writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks are intact & in-place & both seams & the spine are undamaged.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Crisp, flat & uncreased with no splits or tears.
