THE BEATLES - 'YELLOW SUBMARINE'
1969 UK 1st PRESS **MONO** LP
**SUPERB EARLY COPY**
This superb & early 1969 MONO 1st pressing is on the UK dark green Apple label: PMC 7070
The labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Apple Records..' rims.
There is no tax/price code visible on either label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' cover with RED lines & BLANK lower flipback.
Complete with its original matt black, die-cut inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 715-1 & XEX 716-1
Stamper numbers: 1/T & 1/P

Pristine, bright & glossy surfaces bearing only a few wispy paper hairlines and sleeve removal marks visible only directly under a halogen desk lamp.
There are no fingernail scuffs, marks or any scratches to either side.
Quality vinyl which lies 100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT
Played just a few times, the overall sound is big, bright and clear with very little lessening to the sound quality.
Carefuly listening at volume on headphones reveals a touch of light wear to a few extreme peaks but no crackle or background noise.
All the orchestral tracks play cleanly and clearly & both run-ins and all bands play silently without any intereference.
There are no clicks, hiss, jumps or repeats anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Bright & vibrant front panel retaining a completely 'as new' unscratched, high-gloss laminate bearing no creasing or 'thumbnails' at all.
The lower corners have a light bruising but the upper corners are in perfect, undamaged condition.
The opening edges are clean and sharp bearing only extremely light wear only to the front edge but no tears or feathering.
The rear panel is clean and white & only a written number in the upper left corner & tiny price in the lower left keeps it from being Near Mint.
All the flipbacks, seams and the spine are all in perfect condition.
Strict visual grading in daylight and directly under a halogen desk lamp & audibly at volume on high-end audio equipment
