Description
THE BEATLES - 'YESTERDAY'
UK 1980's *MINT* MISPRESSED EP
This MINT/UNPLAYED copy comes from the final batch of this title to have been pressed on vinyl in the UK.
In an effort to keep the label as authentic looking as possible, the designers copied an original and left on the obsolete 'Sold in UK....' legal text.
The disc bears the same catalogue number as the 1966 1st issue and is on a matt black & silver Parlophone label: GEP 8948.
The text around the rim of each label begins 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..'
This disc was purchased from the shop in a plain black cover i.e. WITHOUT a picture sleeve.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 894-1 & 7TCE 895-2
N.B. Side 1 was pressed using the original 1966 stamper and still retains the KT' code in the run-out.
CONDITION
Labels: MINT
Both are 'as new' with no spindle wear or marks.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces are unmarked and 'as new'. However, I have refrained from a straight MINT grade due to a slight warp which does not affect sound or play in any way.
