THE COVER: 

The peel on this butcher is nothing short of beautiful!  The peel on this butcher was done by Jim Hansen at Blue Jay Way Galleries who is recognized as world's leading butcher artist.  Jim is our exclusive butcher artist, and all of our butchers are done in beautiful detail by him!  You will not find a better peeled butcher anywhere!  All of the big-time Beatles collectors who are aware of investment quality know that  third-state Butcher peels don't get any better than Jim's. He has been peeling butchers since 1971, and has made butcher restoration a true form of art!   

The colors on this butcher are pure, sweet, and bold.   As with virtually all of our butchers, the pictures below allow you to see the incredible fine dot matrix texture of the original butcher slick that has been exposed.  This only happens with a properly peeled butcher.  The detail of this peel is so good that you can see the whites of the Beatles eyes!  Just look at their teeth!  The texture of the meat looks real!  Look at the false teeth on Paul's arm.  You can make out the detail of the teeth and gums!  The detail is stunning. 

The edges of the slick are a very nice white.  You just don't get this very often on a butcher as most being sold on ebay are really yellowed.  The spine does have some yellowing and aging on the bottom edge - check out the pics.  The overall brightness of the edges frame the stunning blue and gray hues of this slick beautifully.  The fleshtones of the faces, dolls, and meat are vivid and look real!  The seams are in great physical shape without any  splits or cracks!  This is highly unusual to find butchers with seams that are not cracked or split.   The printing on the spine is clean and legible with just the lightest of wear. 

All of the printing on the back of the cover is crisp and clean.  There is some light age stainning at the very top where the cover has laid against another cover in storage, but nothing that is vulgar or too obtrusive.  The traditional LA rings on the mouth edge are extremely light and are virtually invisible.  That is because our peeled butchers are the finest available and minimize this trait WITHOUT touching up the cover!  IF there is any touch up, we will inform the customer, and there is none on this butcher.  Just a beautiful cover!  

An original peeled trunk cover is intact and included.

THE LP IS A BEAUTIFUL FULL GLOSS VG+ ON THE VINYL WITH NM RAINBOW LABELS.   THIS LP IS OUTSTANDING!  NOT PERFECT, BUT WAY ABOVE AVERAGE FOR WHAT I USUALLY FIND WITH THIS TITLE.   THE LP  HAS BEEN CLEANED ON A VPI RECORD CLEANER .  ALSO INCLUDED IS AN  ORIGINAL GOLDEN ROD CAPITOL 66 INNER SLEEVE MAKING THIS A COMPLETE 1966 CAPITOL RECORDS YESTERDAY AND TODAY BUTCHER PACKAGE.
