Description
This is an original top opening copy of the beatles white album in mono in excellent condition. The sleeve shows a little yellowing with age and has a small crease in the bottom right corner otherwise excellent with no torn bits or broken laminate. The poster is excellent plus close to mint as are the original four thick card pictures of John, Paul,George and Ringo. The black inners are very good + wth a few tiny tares around the tops and around the centre hole otherwise extremely good. The vinyls are both in excellent condition and have been played on a project turntable and they sound superb with no background noise, pops or clicks. Both vinyls show a couple of light marks in strong light but these just look minimal scratches from where they have been taken in and out of sleeve. They exhibit little if any spindle wear round centre holes andsold in uk text with no emi reference. The matrix nos and stampers are as follows side 1 yex 709-1 no5 and letters pr, side 2 yex 710-1 no8 grh, side 3 yex 711-1 no6 letters ggg and side 4 yex 712-2 no grg. From this and the early no 26433 tis is a very early pressing in superb condition. This also has the rare white photo spacer which is very good plus condition with a little light creasing at the top.
