ALL 16 VEE JAY BEATLES TRACKS IN ONE GREAT SET!!
As an astute collector you already know that this is NOT an original item from the 1960s, but I'm stating to so you can be clear.
THE BOX Great looking, glossy, hinged box, has a die cut hole in the center of the front cover to show the iconic cover photo of the "Introducing the Beatles" LP that adorns the front of the insert booklet - a large Vee Jay Brackets logo is visible when the contents are removed. Inside the box, the titles of all sixteen songs randomly shown, with a die cut center square that the 2 singles are safely housed in.
THE BOOKLET The booklet is assembled 'Accordian Style", it features full size artwork from the front and back covers each of the Beatles LP's on Vee Jay, including the inside gatefold covers from "SONGS, PICTURES and STORIES of the FABULOUS BEATLES" and "THE BEATLES vs THE FOUR SEASONS"...and that Elusive Poster from the "Beatles vs Four Seasons" is in there too!!!
THE ALBUM The 12" LP features 12 songs, known as the Version 1 lineup (with LOVE ME DO and P.S. I LOVE YOU), it has white promotional labels with Stereo at 12 o'clock, it plays all of the songs correctly as listed on the label. It comes in a custom Vee Jay inner sleeve with several vee jay artists on one side, and the story of the Beatles on Vee Jay on the other side.
THE 2 SINGLES The remaining 4 songs are on two singles, configured with the same songs, just as they were originally released on Vee Jay in 1963. Each comes in a custom picture sleeve. The first single, VJ 498, has a sleeve that is die-cut on one side, the white promo labels have the bands name misspelled as "BEATTLES"...the second single, VJ 522 has a great sleeve with a colorized photo of the Beatles in the studio from early late 1962/early 1963
