Fab! 5 Beatles reel to reel tapes. A Genuine, rare find, that will appeal to any true Beatles collectors.
Please Please Me, With The Beatles, Beatles For Sale, A Hard Days Night and Help! all on the original issue EMI 2 track 3 3/4 P.S tape.
These reel to reel tapes pre-date cassettes and 8 track and were a small issue of the albums listed at the time. All are now over 50 years old and the condition is amazing, considering their age.
As can be seen from the photographs, all tape spools are tightly wound, with the original leader tape stating the title, and the original EMI tape spools.
The cardboard boxes are in remarkable condition, with a slight aged yellowing, as would be expected. They are not dog-eared or falling apart by any means, and the only real damage (if you can call it that) is a very small split to the upper finger point of the top case to 'Hard Day's Night.' This measures approx 7mm.
I have never played these tapes, and as far as I can see without unwinding them, they are all in tip top condition. 'Hard Days Night' had no inner cardboard reel housing because the tape is slightly larger than the others and fits the box without it.
I have researched these a little, and prices seem to average out at about £50 per reel. I am not being greedy and will set the starting price at £85 for ALL FIVE tapes, and invite bids above this sensible figure.
I've set postage at a fiver, and will pay any extra myself.

Due to quite a lot of interest from abroad, I have opened this up to international buyers. I have checked with the post office here in the UK and on weight alone it will cost £14.50 to send to USA for example.This does not include packaging, but if the postage is any more than that, I will pay the difference.
