Description
The record has (XEX.421) 'Recording first published 1963' and 'PMC 1202' on the label. The matrices on side 1 are XEX 421 - IN and on side 2 XEX 422 IN. Despite marks on side 1 and small scratches on side 2, they do not seem to affect the sound quality. The record plays reasonably well considering it is over 60 years old.
Both labels are in good condition. The label on side 1 has the 'Dick James Mus. Co.' credits for Please Please Me and 'Northern Songs' credits for I saw her Standing There, Do You Want to Know a Secret, There's a Place and Misery.
The front cover photo was taken by Angus McBean and the sleeve notes are by Tony Barrow. The back cover has some marks and the bottom corner on the right-hand side has been bent back slightly at the edge (please see picture above). The sleeve has some discoloration and creases.
