Description
This is a relist - and I've finally gone out and bought a 7.1 megapixel camera! I've used my trusty 1-megapixel since 2000...so it's high-time. To kick-off the new "era" I'm pleased to offer this at a reserve under $750 (only time at this price). The Beatles "Please Please Me" b/w "Ask Me Why" white label promo 7" 45 single from 1963 in overall VG to VG+ condition. This DJ copy recently came out of the Recording Library of WBOB radio station in Galax, Virginia. As seen in the new photos, Side 1 has a small red "X" on the label, and a piece of white surgical tape on either side that has "PB 242" handwritten in blue pen. I did not try to remove this tape but am told it can be removed. This copy comes with the original radio station sleeve that has a rectangular sticker on the top-left corner printed "WBOB Recording Library No. 8987". The disc has "The Beatles" misspelled on both sides, and the catalog number as "VJ 498". This, of course, is the first record in the United States to have The Beattles name. U.S. buyer to pay $6.00 for double-boxed priority shipping. International buyer to inquire for shipping costs. Insurance is at the discretion of the buyer. Please email me with any questions.
