Beatles with Tony Sheridan & Guests/Pete Best Autograph With two songs by Tony and the Beat Brothers ("Swanee River" and "You Are My Sunshine", a single in Germany for Tony, Polydor NH 24-849) and several tracks by the Titans, who were probably an MGM in-house band. The album's cover made an obvious attempt to capitalize on the success of the group, succeeding only moderately. The official release date was February 3, 1964, just before the arrival of the band in America. (MGM E-4215 [mono]. Sleeve and record both grade VG+=. The bonus with this album is the autograph of Original Beatles Drummer “Pete Bestâ€. This album was purchased from a collector in U.S.A. who obtained Pete Best’s signature at a Trade Show. MINT= absolutely perfect in every way, poss still sealed or in original plastic wrap. NM= a nearly perfect record. VG++= record surfaces may have signs that it was rarely played or handled by a previous owner that took extremely good care of it. Record surfaces may show very minimal amount of surface scuffing and/or scratching that does not affect audio quality. VG+= record shows sign that it was played but handled by a previous owner. Record surfaces may show signs of wear or may have scuffs and/or scratches but do not affect the audio quality. VG= surface noise may be evident upon playing, but will not overpower the music. Light scratching will be noticeable that might or will affect the sound. Many times, the record will play through with no skipping or minimal skipping. Good= Records in this category still hold their value as it can be put onto a turntable and played through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. Fair= Record has visible groove wear, scratches and scuffs with audible surface noise or popping and skipping.
