Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and they will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the items I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles-"Please Please Me" LP, UK pressing, Parlophone PMC-1202, released in 1963. Second Mono pressing, with "Northern Songs" publishing credits. WWW.JPGR.CO.UK states there were only 900 copies of this LP pressed. Side 1 matrix is XEX 421-1N RR and side two matrix is XEX 422-1N RR. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG- to VG condition with each side having several scratches. None can be felt and both sides still gleam. This is not an abused album. Labels don't show any spindle marks; side 2 label is faded some. Cover is in VG condition with typical general age wear, nothing severe and no seam splits. There is a name on the back. Includes an original "Emitex" inner sleeve, with a small split on one side. Iconic LP, in overall nice shape.
