The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and they will have a grade below that. The Beatles-"Introducing The Beatles" LP, Vee Jay VJLP 1062, released in 1964. This is the much scarcer "blank back" Mono pressing. This is also a "version 1" pressing, with "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You". Version 1 pressings were only available for a short time before these two songs were replaced by "Please Please Me" and "Ask Me Why". Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG condition, (strong VG condition on side 1) with several very light, non-feelable marks. Both sides still retain their full gloss. Cover is also in VG condition, mainly due to the writing on the back. A shame, because this rare cover back would easily grade VG+ but for that. Definitely authentic with "Audio Matrix" and "MR" circled stamped in the dead wax. Very scarce piece of Beatles vinyl; this is extremely hard to find in any condition.
