Description
The Beatles & Frank Ifield-"Jolly What!" LP, Vee Jay VJLP 1085, released in 1964. This LP was one more attempt by Vee Jay to squeeze whatever they could out of the few remaining Beatles songs they temporarily still had the rights to. Ironically, these Vee Jay LP's have become some of the most collectible LP's in the Beatles catalog. This copy is authentic, with the purple LP cover (not black), and the LP has the Monarch pressing plant stamp (a "MR" in a circle) in the dead wax. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG condition, with each side having numerous light scuffs/scratches. Both sides still retain their full gloss. This is not a trashed LP by any means. The cover is in strong VG condition, with mostly light general age/ring/seam wear. Both LP labels, featuring the scarcer oval logo, are in excellent condition. Back cover features the infamous "copulation" spelling error. Beatles tracks are "Please Please Me","From Me To You","Ask Me Why", and "Thank You Girl". The rest are by Frank Ifield. This doesn't have the original VJ inner sleeve. Overall a very nice copy for your Beatles collection. Any questions please e-mail me.
