Description
John Lennon & Yoko Ono-"Two Virgins" LP, Apple/Tetragrammaton T-5001, released 1968. This is an original first pressing. Infamous, now extremely rare, LP featuring John & Yoko in the nude on the cover. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded according to Goldmine standards, is in very good to very good + condition, with some very light scratches. Labels are in mint minus condition. (Most of the LP's themselves have survived remarkably well, as one listen (two if you couldn't believe what you heard the first time) were all the listening required). This is one of the very few cases where the vinyl isn't as important as the cover anyway, and the cover here is in beautiful near mint condition. Amazingly, the brown outer sleeve is also in near mint condition. These usually have rips or tears, at least creases, especially along the opening where the LP was taken in and out. This one has one 1/8" tear at the bottom. Hardly worth mentioning, but I want to be as accurate as possible. Otherwise, it's in like new condition. Opens from the side (re-issues open from the top). What can I say? One of the rarest Beatles related LP's, in overall excellent condition. Any questions just e-mail me. US shipping is $2.50 Media mail or $4.50 Priority mail. Everywhere else, please e-mail me. Check out my other auctions for more rare vinyl. Thanks for looking.
