Released on 29th of November 1968, TWO VIRGINS displays John and Yokos attempt to break away from the ever increasing turmoil within The Beatles. The nude cover shot and the 'music' were about as far away from anything you'd expect from a Beatle, at the time. EMI refused to release the album. It didn't chart, selling less than 5000 copies through Track Records and having then been deleted, this original issue is now one of the rarest and most difficult 'Beatle' albums to find.

Both sides of the disc are in outstanding condition, with little more than a few light surface lines
With a deep gloss lustre and no sign of groove wear this disc delivers near flawless audio from start to finish, with just the odd pop/tick but no skips or stalls
*
The labels are in perfect condition, with just a couple of light spindle trails each side
There is a name written on side 1
*
The Technink, unlaminated cover, has survived reasonably well for an unprotected, white cardboard item
It has age toning, ring wear, surface pressure lines, general edge bumping and a small spine split where the disc has penetrated
The internal top and bottom flipbacks are completely intact
There are two tiny pin holes on the top edge where the cover has been displayed
The front photo is fully nude (censored for the image above)
*
Stockists refused to put the cover on public display and so a brown paper, 'head-shot' only sleeve was produced for this purpose
This example is in wonderful condition, full intact, with no splits and just a very mild disc impression
*
All in all, a complete and original example of this very rare, collectors item
