The Beatles:
Please Please Me / Ask Me Why
1963 - 1st Pressing
45-R 4983
7XCE 17217-1N and 7XCE 17218-1N
MPT1-GG and MPT2-H
Very nice copy with vibrant labels. Faint initials on the centre of side 2 but hard to see, as photo above
There are numerous fairly light surface lines present but no scuffs or heavy marks and still a good surface sheen
Some peak wear, mainly side 1 but both sides play through with no background crackle, skips or stalls
There is a 'pin prick' side 1 ( see matrix photo below the N ) which does produce a few dull pops on the final chord fade
Original stripy sleeve is in top condition with no seam splits
Still a great sounding rare copy with no major problems - happy bidding!
