IN THIS AUCTION:
A LOT OF 3 BADFINGER LPs
Badfinger was one of the Beatles’ “First Four” new artists released under their new Apple Records label. Badfinger was referred to as “The Apple House Band” by George Harrison during The Concert For Bangladesh.
Record #1:
· “STRAIGHT UP” by Badfinger
· This is Apple Records SW – 3387.
· This LP was released December 13, 1971.
· The LP has “Mfd. By Apple Records, Inc.” on the uncut-Apple label.
· This LP, with 12 cuts, has become one of Badfinger’s most desirable LPs, as it contains 2 of their top singles hits: “Baby Blue” and “Day After Day”.
· Todd Rundgren produced all but 4 of the cuts on this LP. Those 4 cuts were produced by George Harrison.
· THE LP COVER is in VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION. As you can see in the images, there is VERY LIGHT WEAR on the cover, a slight corner push on top left corner, 2 small staple holes at top left, a few tiny white spots also on the left side, and light wear on the bottom two corners. It seems like this dark–colored cover was always prone to show wear very easily, especially ring wear, but this cover only shows a hint of light wear. (Check Images)
· The VINYL IS NEAR MINT.
Record #2:
· “NO DICE” by Badfinger
· This is Apple Records SKAO – 3367.
· This LP was released November 9, 1970.
· The LP has “Mfd. By Apple Records, Inc.” on the uncut-Apple label.
· This LP, with 12 cuts, has become one of Badfinger’s most desirable LPs, as it contains: “No Matter What”, “We’re For The Dark” and “Blodwyn”.
· The cuts on the LP were produced by Geoff Emerick and Mal Evans.
· THE LP COVER is in NEAR MINT CONDITION.
· The VINYL IS ALSO NEAR MINT.
Record #3:
· “ASS” by Badfinger
· This LP is Apple Records SW - 3411.
· This is a stereo LP that was issued November 26, 1973.
· It has the notable cuts “Apple of My Eye”, “Constitution” and “I Can Love You”.
· This LP is NEAR MINT & STILL in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. The Shrink Wrap has a small tear at the top right corner
· The Cover and VINYL are NEAR MINT. (Only 1 label shown in images due to 12 photo max. Be assured, it is Near Mint.)
· It comes with its original custom inner sleeve that is also NEAR MINT.
