-
“THE BEST OF GEORGE HARRISON” LP by George Harrison
-
This is Capitol Records ST-11578.
-
This LP title was originally issued November 8, 1976; however, the LP in this auction is a third pressing issued between 1978 and 1983, because the rear cover has a bar code.
-
During the production run of this LP, 1978 – 1983, Capitol changed from a cover without the bar code to a cover with the bar code.
-
This LP is in MINT STILL SEALED CONDITION and STILL IN ITS ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. The shrink wrap has “breathe” holes. There is a tiny bit of wear on the corner at the base of the spine where the shrink wrap is worn through. There are a couple of tiny corner pushes and a tiny production flaw visible on the rear cover under the shrink wrap at the opening. It seems that a very tiny edge of the rear cover was bent back before the shrink wrap was applied.
-
The VINYL is, of course, MINT and STILL SEALED inside the cover.
-
This LP contains 13 GREAT George Harrison compositions from his Beatles-years (from Capitol and Apple LPs) and from his post-Beatles years (from his solo Apple LPs). I included an enlarged image of the song tracks listing for you to see his GREAT tunes on this LP.
A VERY NICE MINT STILL SEALED COPY of this LP that is now 40+ years old!
