Description
This is a hard-to-find Beatles single from 1964 on the Swan label, Sie Liebt Dich, number 4182. It is an American issue. Counterfeits of these Swan singles is common but this is the real article. The B-side is I'll Get You. There are several label variations for this single, as mentioned on page 151 of Perry Cox's Official Price Guide To Beatles Records and Memorabilia, 1999 edition. This one has a gloss white label with red print. The title print is narrow, 7/8ths inches. The English translation (She Loves You) is printed below the German song title. In the trail-off area, there is etched both the record number, S-4182-S-2, and Virtue Studio. The label on both sides states, "Don't Drop Out". The A-side label has a name written in ballpoint pen at the lower left side. At the lower right, there is a small white sticker with the number 19 printed on it. The B-side label is perfect. The vinyl on both sides looks virtually unplayed. I would grade it as a VG+. This record is part of a large Beatles collection I built over a 15-year period. E mail me with any questions, including requests to see jpeg files that will show more details than the photos here. All records must be insured before shipment. Thanks for looking.
