Description
Beatles,The Beatles,LP, Catalogue Number: (PCS 7068), Cover Details: Front laminated flipback gatefold sleeve with a Company inner sleeve.
Cover Condition: very good condition with some creasing or marks as seen in the pictures or noted.
Record Condition: Has some light surface marks which should not affect play, these are mostly made from removing the record from the sleeve so should play through fine with no playback defects(no actual scratches or jumps/skips/sticks etc) and is acceptable to most collectors.
Any Other Details: Original stereo first pressing, on the Apple record label. All four labels have the 'Sold In The UK' and 'An EMI Recording' text on them. Matrix numbers YEX 709-1 & YEX 710-1, YEX 711-1 & YEX 712-1. These records have been played and on our record player they were excellent throughout. On side one there is a tiny mark between tracks one and two which caused one pop in the dead air between the tracks. Housed in the top opening numbered gatefold sleeve, with internal flipbacks. The sleeve is numbered 0335441. There is some pale brown staining to the top edge it is mostly on the front. The back cover has a small rectangle area of sellotape residue. This is still a good solid sleeve with no large creases or splits and only faint shelf wear. The spine has both catalogue numbers and has stereo on the back. The poster has a few light creases, there is a pinhole in both top corners. There are no large creases or stains. All four photos are present and in excellent condition. They are the first photos which are darker in tone and printed on heavier paper with a deeper gloss than later copies. The original black inner sleeves are in good condition with creases, one has one little tear to the bottom corner the other one has a 2.5cm tear to the die cut
