Description
The Beatles-"Souvenir From Their Visit To America" four track EP, Vee Jay VJEP-1-903, released in 1964. This is the extremely scarce blue/white label promotional copy. Songs are: "Ask Me Why" (in large print on label),"Anna","Misery", and "A Taste Of Honey". Let me begin by stating that THIS EP HAS A CRACK IN IT that runs through the first song on each side. I play tested each side and, with the exception of some light background noise (that would have been there anyway) it played through fine. Otherwise, vinyl, is in VG- to VG condition; each side has some marks. I would have tried to take a picture of the crack but you really can't see it. I wouldn't have known it was there if the person that sold it to me didn't tell me. Both labels show some writing and marks. Comes with it's original Vee Jay sleeve (rare on it's own), in good condition for it's age. It shows general wear; nothing severe. Normally I wouldn't dream of listing a record that has a crack in it but I thought the rarity of this outweighed those considerations. This would make a nice hole filler in your Beatles collection until a better one comes along (which isn't that often). Any questions please e-mail me. US shipping is $4.00 Media Mail; Priority Mail available upon request. Everywhere else please e-mail me. Check out my other auctions for more rare vinyl and CD's. Thanks for looking.
