Description

Beatles-The White Album

1968 release in the RARER MONO  PMC 7067

VERY FIRST PRESSING !WHAT AN AUDIO !

Numbered 0039286  Very low numbered edition! Made in UK with a G / 1 mother/stamper Incredible find and one of the earliest to run off the press ! Earliest mother and EMI recording text on label? Extremely RARE and not what you would expect!

A VERY FIRST UK PRESSING and a very  EARLY issue!

Top opening, fully  laminated ,double gatefold sleeve in superb condition. Minimal ring wear visible !Wide 8mm spinal width !Corners a little scuffed and edge of spine has some laminate peeling in two or three places along spinal column. Top spinal edge wear moderate. Excellent-, clean example  with mirror-like centrefold !! One moderate scuff on reverse . Flip backs, (inside top opening gatefold) ,are undamaged. Very minor creasing on laminate ,producing an ultra smooth touch to the lamination . Superior gloss and a pleasure to view.

Original first issue poster with lip stick kiss, in good+ condition, with seam splits on each fold . One tear resulting from one of the seam splits visible toward the upper top edge but all in one piece. Red mark on reverse. Moderate handling.A  good collector’s item.

FOUR gorgeous first issue thick card, coloured prints with this album. Beautiful condition with minor scratching on Starr !! Excellent condition with an ultra fresh feel. Very clean indeed with white reverse faces. Hardly handled.

Original black inner sleeves in good+ condition. Seam splits on  edges and tears on central edges .

YEX 709-1 / 710-1 /711-1 / 712-1-Early matrices!!! AND one of the earliest mothers! Stampers at 3 o clock on one vinyl are 1 and   7  and the  mothers at 9 o clock are G and  AT and on the other vinyl,  stampers are 1  and 2 and the mothers are G G L  and G G .We have actually got a G / 1 one of the hardest mothers/stampers to obtain and indicates the very first to roll off the press? Amazing find! Quite impossible!

Labels dark green Apple format in excellent condition.

“Sold in Uk…” text showing a very first press of this very famous Beatles release. Just a light spindle trace to report and some light mottling .No hand writing or lifting of any kind. “E.M.I. recording” text on all four labels . This is where the oddity lies, as it is reputed that EMI text is synonomous with later pressings ,so why do we have one of the earliest mothers on the same vinyl of an EMI recording text on label? Suggestions on a post card please..Very puzzling !

Thick , chunky vinyls with a few visible surface marks/extremely light scratches. A two record set. Mirror like sheen still reflected and visual appeal is certainly excellent, save for side 4, which has a couple of visible marks. The other three sides have the odd hint/mark of playing history but the marks are extremely difficult to observe against its stunning sheen. Beautiful condition.

Audio is considered at least a VG++,very close to excellent and considerably better in some parts ,without a doubt .Beautiful delivery! Will delight all who listen to this exceptional record!!! Some distant light static is detected occasionally but the extra loud cut delivery is phenomenal and any surface disturbance does little to affect the music presentation. Turned volume up high and had a real party fling with this audio, really pleasing and enjoyable. NO skips or jumps with nothing significant to fault . Tones are delivered sharply and concisely, as would be expected from a monotone perspective. Blackbird is the test piece for this album and was delivered in excellent style (just a hint of static detected). Will not find much better than this.

Your chance to own a remarkable first UK pressing of a very famous Beatles classic at a reasonable price, initiating at a low price and offered with no reserve. Possibly THE best of all their album releases!! Presented in phenomenal style here !!! With all four prints and first issue poster ! A much coveted 1  G mother in run off on one vinyl ! Good luck. A very early issue on offer here!
