Description
Badfinger, a band originally formed as The Iveys in 1961, became the FIRST GROUP SIGNED TO THE BEATLES’ APPLE RECORDS LABEL IN 1968 and was referred to by George Harrison as “the Apple House Band” in The Concert for Bangla Desh in Madison Square Garden. For trivia purposes, the band renamed themselves “Badfinger” after the working title, “Bad Finger Boogie”, of The Beatles’ 1967 song “With A Little Help From My Friends”.
The band, comprised of Pete Ham, Joey Molland, Tom Evans and Mike Gibbins , recorded 5 LPs on the Apple Records label from 1968 to 1973 before the dissolution of Apple records. Badfinger changed to different record labels in the post-Apple Records period.
In this auction are 3 Badfinger LPs that were released after the dissolution of Apple Records. All three are PROMOTIONAL RECORDS.
As you probably know, PROMO RECORDS were produced in very limited quantities, and they were only released by record companies to radio stations and DJs for on-air play. PROMO RECORDS were not available to the general public to purchase.

On Oct-06-20 at 07:38:21 PDT, seller added the following information:Just to correct a typo: In the description of "Airwaves" it should read "(VG Minus)" not "(NG Minus)".
And I know Goldmine grading doesn't use have a "Minus" symbol in grading. In such cases when I use Goldmine grading and use a "minus", it merely means "on the weak side of" that particular grade.
