BEAUREGARDE"BEAUREGARDE" (EMPIRE) 1971  VERY RARE
Rare first pressing Beauregarde on private press label. Vinyl is in really nice condition, no visible marks. I would call it EX just to be on the safe side but that’s being critical.
Cover has some damage on the outer spine on the bottom, about 3” in total. The remainder of the cover is really strong and it comes with original inner sleeve also. VG+


The music is some basic ass blues rock vanilla soul, but this dude here shout sings and laughs and makes funny noises and loses his mind…and you love it.
It sounds like someone asked him to make an album just because he’s animated and “likes” to sing and lays it down ok just about everyone.
Calling out by name Hendrix, Joplin, and Morrison on their drug use, calling out my man James Brown for writing “Say It Loud”…because this dude don’t care what color you are, just, can you get down you know?
“Everybody Ball” was the absolute best, where yes, he even “balls with your lady”…and all this sung behind some nice basic grooves and psych.
