Description

Beethoven: The 32 Piano Sonatas / Claude Frank (RCA, VICS-9000, Stereo, 1971, U.S.) 

An Ex/Ex set. All stampers end in 1S or 2S. Very clean and glossy sides with touches of very light scuff and (1) a small speck between T1 and T2 on S9 (light pop therefrom); (2) two faint hairlines to the last track on S12 (very light static results); (3) small scratch toe T2 of S19 (one pop, light static); (4) small scratch to T3 of S23 (light static). Play otherwise very clean. Light rubbing to some of the labels at the groove/ridge, light spindle swipe to some, light wear to the paper at the spindles of a few; labels in general bright and appealing. Booklet lightly handled with a touch of soiling to the foot of the second leaf. Box is solid and clean with a small chip to the head of the hinge and light rubbing to the cover paste-on.
